Privacy policy

Updated

Last updated: 2026-10-06. This policy explains what TollSure (creekrapid.com) collects, which is very little, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we don't do

You don't need an account to use the site. The site doesn't set cookies. It doesn't run analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and it doesn't load third-party fonts. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone.

Numbers you type into the checker

When you enter a phone number into the number check, the server processes it to answer your request. It isn't written to a database. However, the number travels in the web address of the request, and that has a consequence described next.

Server logs

Like most websites, the web server writes standard logs. A log line includes your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the URL you requested (which includes the number you typed into the checker, if you used it), and the time. We keep these logs for about a week, since they rotate roughly every five to seven days, and then they're deleted. We use them to keep the site working and to spot abuse.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, message text, the time you sent it, and a hash of your IP address (not the address itself) in a file. We keep it for up to 12 months after we have replied, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We use it only to answer you and to fix mistakes. Please don't put sensitive information in the message.

What this means in plain terms

If you only read pages, the only trace is an ordinary web server log line. If you type a number into the checker, that number is part of the requested address, so it appears in the same log line for the same short period, and it isn't copied anywhere else by us. If you write to us, the message is stored in a file for the period above. That's the full list. We don't build profiles, we don't track you across pages, and we don't run scripts from other companies in your browser.

Who can see the logs

Server logs are available to the people who run the site and its hosting. We don't hand them to advertisers or data brokers, and we don't sell or transfer them. If a lawful request from authorities arrived, we would respond only as the law requires, and with logs that short-lived there may be little left to provide.

Links to other sites

Our articles link to sources such as the FTC, the FCC and the Do Not Call Registry. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and once you leave TollSure our policy no longer applies. Reporting a scam on a government site is your own submission to them, not to us.

Children

TollSure isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child sent us a message, write to us and we'll delete it.

Your rights, including California (CCPA/CPRA)

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us not to sell or share it. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we'll confirm that on request. We don't treat you differently for asking. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used with us, and tell us what you want. We may need to confirm it's you before acting. Because web logs rotate within about a week, most log entries will already be gone by the time we reply.

Changes to this policy

If we change the policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For a related notice see the disclaimer, and for the rules of use see the terms.
